CBT Intensive Training

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychotherapy that focuses on the ‘link’ between our thoughts, behaviours and emotions.  This is done by identifying distorted thinking through automatic thoughts, challenging and modifying maladaptive schemas, beliefs and behaviours, and helps one to recognize how they relate to others and their environments. CBT is an intervention that teaches clients to identify, evaluate and respond to dysfunctional beliefs and thoughts. It has been found to be effective with numerous disorders and scientifically proven in hundreds of clinical trials.

Deadline for the upcoming January intensive course is November 25th 2016.
Also can you make note that there will be a $500 discount to MHNIG members to help increase the knowledge of MH nurses in evidenced based therapies such as CBT.
